Endeavour Season 4

9/4/17 – So glad Amazon has Masterpiece available for subscription. Endeavour is one of the best things on TV currently. I loved Morse and when I first heard they were doing Endeavour, I was disdainful but I should have known that they would do justice to the cast of Morse. This series of Morse in his young days is every bit as good as John Thaw’s series. I am very happy that Colin Dexter gave it his blessing. The only quibble I have about this series is that I hate what they have done to the Thursday family – having Joan go away and ignore her lovely parents for all this time. I want to throttle her. It was great to see Nurse Hicks again in episode 3 of Season 4 – a very classy lady.-MaggieG13

So I watched Season 4 of Endeavour back-to-back-to back-to back. Now comes the withdrawl. Googled and found there will be a Season 5. But till then? Every aspect of Endeavour is excellent, most notable the rapor between DI Thursday and Morse. All 4 seasons have set the bar very high. So bring on Season 5 – I’ll be waiting.-John W. Meyer

The finest detective series I have ever watched. The use of portions of the Brahms German Requiem is perfect as Morse ponders the human condition and our terrible need for understanding, redemption and hope. I eagerly await the 5th season that I understand is in the works. A special thank you and kudos to the entire cast for bringing to life these poignant, insightful and profound tales.-Whiskeyjack
