Middle, The The Complete Ninth Season

DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:

I have been a big fan of “The Middle” ever since its first season. Loved Brick, Mike, and the rest of the gang. Although to be honest, Sue would get on my nerves, and if I had a kid like Axl, I would have shipped him off to military school as soon as he hit puberty.

When I heard they were cancelling the show (and the word got out around January) I was befuddled and bereft. I let out an anguished “NO” (how Sue-like) which lasted for months. Even my seasons 1-8 DVD collection were no solace.

When I watched the final episode, (and I’d told a fellow Middleite my predictions for the characters), I found out at least one of my guesses were correct – it involved Brick).

They’re now saying ABC is working on a sequel that involves Sue. I’m hoping that the rest of the cast will make a lot of appearances, as well.

And now that the new TV season is upon us, I still keep showing up for Tuesday, 7 pm, and my show’s not there. It still hurts. (I really need to get a life.)

Still this DVD is a good reminder of why I love “The Middle.” It’s funny, touching, and makes me glad I have no kids.

I love this series! I have all of the 9 seasons on DVD. Unfortunately, disc 3 of this set is totally messed up! Not sure what’s wrong. It starts out fine then it suddenly stops and pauses, then it jumps to a completely different episode! When I received this Season 9 I put it away and didn’t watch it for a few months making it impossible to return!?Has anyone else had this same problem? It’s so disappointing because I watched the last episodes for the first time on DVD. Actually, my husband and I only watched The Middle on the Hallmark Ch and not on regular TV. Then we have watched hours of The Middle on DVD at our vacation home. So we were so sad when Disc 3 of Season 9 was so messed up! And now I’m stuck with it! ??- Little Star

Like all the seasons, this ninth season for the Middle did not disappoint. Of course it was sad to have the show end, but it was well done. Surprisingly, they managed to get lots of guest stars on for one more appearance. I will miss this wonderful family show, but I have the complete DVD set for The Middle to view for years to come.-Penelope King
