The Walking Dead: Season 4
DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:
Neither my husband nor I are fans of horror or zombies. We don’t have cable and generally only watch documentaries. TWD has changed all of that. We absolutely love this show!
Personally, I preferred seasons 1 and 2 over the 3rd. By the end of last season I was ever so slightly less enthusiastic then I had been. I didn’t enjoy the conflict between the two large groups as much as the more personal struggles the earlier shows focused on. I also began to find the shows just too depressing. The occasional moments of humor, friendship and joy seemed to get less and less common as the season went on. Obviously, a show dealing with the sort of events portrayed is not likely to be a comedy or a barrel of laughs and I wouldn’t want it to be. However, in my book, a vital part of surviving in that sort of world would be to find those occasional moments of love, laughter and happiness. Otherwise, what’s the point?
I am delighted to report that season 4 seems to have kept all the things I love about the series and brought back just a bit of the hope and humor. I absolutely loved the premier and am awaiting each new installment with baited breath! On top of everything else the new season is heading into yet another plausible, interesting direction to help keep things fresh and new. Bravo!-Krazy Kindle Reviewer
