for the most part, enjoyable with great plot & creativity. But there are some major issues that need addressing. The series displays morbidly twisted views.
Just to name a few:
“kill a dragon without thought,( that’s not evil, simply doing what it’s designed to do – protect it’s domain,) but heaven forbid you kill an evil human.” Once again, yet another tv show putting EVIL human being above the importance of innocent animals.
“ALL magic is bad, it’s not the choices people make, it’s the MAGIC.” yeah, go ahead, blame something else so that you can get away with saying it’s not YOUR fault.
“redemption is always possible” isn’t necessarily bad, but it is when it’s shown in the light they do; as if you do something good, it magically cancels out everything you did bad. WRONG!!! you still DESERVE A PUNISHMENT. it’s like giving a kid a piece of candy when he steals from mommy’s purse. “oh, you were doing something bad…here let me reward you instead of reprimanding you.”
But i can’t say i’m surprised…that’s society.

As expected, season 2 leads off right where season 1 ended. As such, to really understand the complex relationships between the main characters, the drama, and the various twists involving all of your favorite Disney characters, you must definitely watch season 1 before beginning this season.

For those who are veterans of the series, the second season continues to introduce many beloved Disney characters and their stories as well as further dive into the pasts of the main, recurring, characters. There are many subplots in this season, but (SPOILER ALERT) some of the main plots focus on the identity of Rumpelstiltskin’s son and how to find him, re-uniting the ‘Charming’ family, and how to leave Storybrooke and return to their own world. If you loved the first season, the second season will only deepen your love for the characters and their stories. You will watch the characters grow and change and really experience the “magic” and “power” of love.
