Beauty and the Beast Season 1

First, Beauty and The Beast is one of my favorite stories since I was a Kid. Second, I love sci-fi, drama and action and I can tell this show has all of them, plus one of the best love stories out there.
Third, the production and storyline is amazing. The thing is, it keeps the base concepts of the original story which is good but the story behind the characters is different. Now our beauty is a detective, a really strong and independent woman who tries to keep herself and the city safe. And our Beast was a normal guy enlisted in the Special forces and transformed in a killer machine with the injection of cross-spiciest DNA. So, as you can see the storyline is different and the message it transmit is amazing: Finding our beauty in our beast, Finding your perfections in your imperfections. Fourth, the actors are exquisite.
Now to close, I just can say that if you love the original story, if you are a sci-fi, drama, action, romance fan and if you love the actors… well, you will love this show as much as I do.

I love this show. It has excellent characters, acting, writing, angst, funny moments and drama. O yes, and romance. The chemistry between Kristin Kreuk and Jay Ryan is excellent. I even like the set up. She’s a cop. He’s a military doctor who volunteered for an experiment that went terribly wrong. Now he sometimes becomes a ultra-strong and fast creature when he gets angry (he’s a bit like the Hulk) and she discovers his secret and then swears to protect it. They both have best friends who look out for them, and the best friends think they are not good for each other. See? Angst!
Please check into this series. I think almost anyone would love it. Not for kids. Too much violence.

I saw parts of this Series on YouTube and was immediately hooked. I enjoy retellings of stories, and this one was so HOT!!! The actors are great (especially the Beast), and the storyline is right up my alley (former military). I ordered that entire Series and am awaiting a good day to binge watch all of them.
