Rokie Blue Season 4

I have seen all three full seasons of Rookie Blue, leading up to season four. This show is consistently very good. The writing has gotten stronger and the characters are very likable, and flawed.

If you like police procedural and cops shows generally, check this one out, because if you do like season one, you will love this show as the seasons progress.

Rookie Blue is not ‘”The Wire” or “Intelligence,” but it is not meant to be. For what it is and tries to be, the show is awesome!!

This has become one of my favorite shows. The characters are interesting and fun, flawed and talented, exasperating when they do incredibly dumb things (hooking up with the sister of the guy you shot and killed) or incredibly noble things (leaving a job and friends you love and moving back to a small town you escaped from to raise a son you didn’t even know you had) or incredibly human things (getting engaged just because the guy is stable). The actors infuse the stories believably, so that I am right there with them, like them, hurt with them, get pissed with them. What more can you ask for?
