The Middle Season 4

DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:

What can I say? I love this show. I don’t have a bad word to say about it. I have to admit that I had heard of this show but just thought it was some dumb show. Boy was I wrong!!! So, I started watching it in its fifth season. I later learned of the reruns and tuned in to catch what I had missed. I loved it so much that I bought it.
This is a family show about your run of the mill dysfunctional family. It reminds me so much of my family growing up. I didn’t have one of those perfect families you see on other shows. We were poor, we had mismatched chairs, we missed the bus, my Dad got laid off, we fought and we loved. That’s what this show is about. Yes, there is dysfunction but there is love. Each episode is narrated by the Mom (Patricia Heaton),a Bachelor loving, good Mom who makes her share of mistakes, as she tells what the latest issue is. There is also her husband, Mike, a construction company worker who would rather watch t.v. than deal with family matters, and her three children – Axel (the oldest) who’s going through teenage rebellion ; Sue (the middle child) the over- achieving under-achiever ; and Brick (the youngest) a introverted, book loving, self whispering kid. No, that is not a typo. He whispers words to himself. We all have our quirks!!
I can only find one thing wrong with this show and that’s that it’s too short. Each episode is a half hour long which is way too short for me.
However, that won’t stop me from giving this 5 shiny gold stars!!
You can’t go wrong with this show!!

Possibly my favorite season of The Middle. The cast cracks me up, and scenarios they go through this season are hilarious. Mike always cracks me up, regardless of the episode. Frankie is finally out of the dealership (which was getting old), and studying to become a dental assistant (which leads to a hilarious episode where she and Axl commiserate in their misery of studying for a test. And the kids really hit their stride with their storylines. Overall it’s a funny show with a lot of heart, and you feel good after watching it. I highly recommend, though I’m a huge fan, so I’m slightly biased.

The Hecks are a very typical family except for the mom and the daughter. How Mike stays is a testament to his strength but Frankie is always saying they are bad parents. When really she is a very lazy parent. And Axl is a typical senior guy that has no time for his family except for his odd little brother Brick…the sister Sue is way out there but she always gets what she wants eventually. She falls in love with any guy that gives her attention…but the writers made a mistake when Axl graduated. There is NO way he would have wanted to take a picture with just him and his mom after what she did about his socks!! Plus he didn’t tell his dad what his pajama wearing big coat mom did to him at a party with his friends!! But somehow I am hooked into watching this family everyday!!! Go Hecks!!
