Garfield and Friends: Volume Two

I grew up near Muncie Indiana (near where Jim Davis lives), so Garfield has been a part of my life since I was little. Having the episodes available on Amazon Prime allowed me to share some of that joy with my son. Unfortunately, it looks like Amazon has changed the format their offering for this and several other shows that we’d like to see, which requires us to sign up for Hulu. That significantly reduces the value of the Fire TV and Amazon Prime for our family. Signing up for Amazon Prime was driven by the content it offered through the Fire TV. Garfield is awesome. My 6yr old loves it, or did when we could see it…

This is hands down, one of the best cartoons from back in the day! A very successful adaptation to the cartoon strips it’s based from. The intro is so catchy and hilarious to watch and hear. I mean Garfield is such a character. With his love of food, as well as his sense of humor. Odie is just as funny with his antics and all. And John is such a clown but also funny at times.
And the shrts were just as equally as enjoyable and a pleasure to watch. Especially with some of the life lessons, the exploration of the imagination through one of it’s characters, just outright amazing.
I recommend this to anyone, who loves comedy or is a fan of the Garfield comic strips. You certainly won’t be disappointed.
