Graceland Season 1

DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:

Well, here we go,dirty cop under investigation. So he has a drug habit or use to have one,now he is dealing drugs that was in evidence room.He is the head of the house where the other cops live. And we wonder why reality mimics these shows. So now he kills an agent, buries him and hopes to cover this up.So what happens if he gets caught?no more head of house?so someone else becomes dirty?Mike the FBI agent assigned to investigate Briggs is so clueless,we don’t have to wonder how the criminals out smart us in everyday life.We have lost the positive programs that show the “BAD” guys get caught and justice shines. We have mayors involved in sex scandals, senators sending obscene photos on their phone, are we that warped that the only shows on tv now is sending the message that we are a dirty nation.I have lost interest because in order for this show to get a second season, someone has to become dirty if Briggs goes down for the murder of that agent. The poor guy with the dreads, agent has lost his family to the job and he is cracking up.He looks like he wants to eat the barrel of a gun.”NOTHING POSITIVE”.

-Big Daddythis is a show worth watching. the pilot has style, laughs, mystery, surprising good scrip, great acting and characters you wanted to know about. now with that said, the remaining 3 episodes have been oh so good! a little twist or turn that you could have done without but all in all I am a graceland fan. now the only thing that the powers-that-mean needs to understand is DON’T put in a guy or girl for eyecandy. there is enough to go around. DON’T change the personality of a character in midstream. it is very noticeable and can put a viewer off. AND LEAVE THE WRITERS alone. if they can do the first four episodes this well, let them be. beware the powers-that-be with human target and dark blue. I hate to say it but show a female into the mix and the show just isn’t the same if that new character is not needed. get a bowl of popcorn and enjoy. I have the season so far and I am going to watch each one over again since it is raining now in new York and it will make my day.

Graceland is an addictive new drama about young undercover federal agents living and working together in a beachfront safe house in Southern California. It’s a highly entertaining serial drama from start to finish, with a brilliantly written story, amazing acting, and compelling characters you can’t stop rooting for. The series highlights the important and ultimately dangerous work of undercover FBI, DEA and Customs agents in fighting narcotics trafficking and other nefarious criminal endeavors. The contrast between the dark and dangerous work they do and their seemingly innocuous laid-back surfer lifestyle makes a fascinating backdrop for the intricate, complicated operations they run in their quest to bring down the most dangerous criminals you can imagine. Hunky veteran actor Daniel Sunjata is fantastic as senior agent Paul Briggs in this “merry, merry band of misfits,” and Broadway’s sexy star Aaron Tveit shines as green trainee Mike Warren fresh out of Quantico who is dispatched to the west coast to join the group and shake things up. Suspenseful, unexpected, mysterious, emotional, balanced by lighter moments that will make you laugh, it will grab you from the pilot all the way to the season finale. The talented ensemble of capable young actors are perfectly cast, and all give standout performances. But the chemistry between the characters of hardened Briggs (Sunjata) and newbie Mike (Tveit) makes them the most likeable partners in crime-fighting since Riggs and Murtaugh. The only thing missing is Aaron Tveit’s singing but they have yet to find a way to plausibly work that into the script. Keep your fingers crossed, ladies; season 2 is on the way soon!
