Set in the busiest emergency room in Chicago, “Chicago Med” is the third installment of Dick Wolf’s Chicago-set franchise. The first season of this medical drama centers on the lives of the hospital’s doctors and staff as they take on unique cases, often going beyond the call of duty to care for their patients. The introduction of a new trauma fellow, Dr. Connor Rhodes (Colin Donnell), creates tension in the ranks; and Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto), who is seven months pregnant, must learn to navigate life and work after the sudden loss of her husband during his tour of duty in Afghanistan. Also stars Oliver Platt, Nick Gehlfuss and S. Epatha Merkerson.
