The Flash Season 2

Barry Allen returns to action in Series 2 of The Flash. Barry decides he will protect Central City by himself, however, when Atom Smasher attacks, Iris tries to persuade him to let his friends help. Meanwhile, mystery man Jay Garrick issues a warning about Zoom, a speed demon who intends to take over Central City and to destroy the Flash in the process. Elsewhere, help is needed from the Arrow, and Barry and patty grow closer, making him wonder if he can tell her that he is the Flash.

Following the defeat of Barry Allen’s arch-nemesis Eobard Thawne (aka Reverse Flash), Team Flash quickly turned their attention to the singularity swirling high above Central City, consuming everything in its path. Armed with the heart of a hero and the ability to move at super speeds, Barry charged into the eye of the singularity, but can he actually save his city from impending doom?

There’s much more to consider going into Season 3 than “The Race of His Life” necessarily wrought during the hour itself, but the overall construction felt admirably solid.-Kevin Fitzpatrick
