Silent Witness Season 18

DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:

We liked the 1st one, so bought the set. Thought it was creative, more original than the British police procedurals I’m addicted to:)/hubby less so than I.
But after a few? So implausible, acting wooden, characters so 1 dimensional & what’s a team of forensic pathologists doing running around w/police investigators as they hunt down the bad folks? And I confess to getting distracted by all the face work (sorry!) of every female character—except Clarissa! I mean—main characters & every other female—thought I was watching American TV! Besides the writing, what we’re attracted to w/UK TV is the more ‘real’ authentic looking characters—besides good acting, we can relate to less Hollywood.Not on this show. we bought, so admit we suffered through. Yuck.- baf

I am currently binge-watching this entire series. It’s hard to come by, though you can get it off Amazon’s UK site if you have a region-free DVD player. There are 20 seasons total right now. And I really don’t understand WHY it’s so hard to get, this is excellent TV, well written and well acted. There are of course many cast changes through the 20 years but they all fit and I just love watching.I’d love to see them made easier to find in the US.- Mary Jo DiBella

The entire season was very well done! I enjoyed the characters and the story line and development was well done, not over-dramatized like the CSI’s of the United States. Thoroughly enjoyed each epi – each one were 2 parts – and looked eagerly forward to the next one, right up to the end.- LRox
