MIDSOMER MURDERS: Series 10

DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:

I started with the sets, which are some sort of US release order. After the sets were getting more difficult and expensive to find, I switched to the series (which is labeled on the cover as Orriginal UK release order). I was careful to not overlap episodes I already had, so I begab with series 9.The quality of the videos is excellent, as they had been in the sets.The most remarkable aspect of these mysteries is the village residents. Most are unlikeable, some are dispicable, and some are downright nasty and evil. The main detective, Barnaby, his side kick (and often his family) are the only likeable persons. This of course is by design, as the author adds this element to make determining the murder(s) more difficult and fun. And, these stories are fun. Complicated, sometimes ghoulish, but always entertaining. I hope they never stop making them, as they are some of the only remaining current day mysteries being produced, and produced well!-William Teal

All seasons of Midsomer Murders are exceptionally well written and acted. My wife and I have a great time trying to determine who the culprit might be, but we rarely get it right. This is definitely not one of those “we know who did it in the first 10 minutes” series. It keeps you guessing until the end. We initially discovered the series on PBS, but the number of episodes aired on our local station was quite limited and they were repeated quite often. Our viewing on Amazon has started at Season 1 Episode 1 and has progressed up into Season 12 as of this date. It never gets boring.-Fred Smith

This series is G O O D!!!! I think it goes up to 18 seasons. They are the absolute best and fun and always surprise. As a bonus it all takes place in beautiful country side, little villages with quirky characters thrown in. I laugh, I close my eyes (but only momentarily) and try to guess what’s going to happen. You never know. I recommend it whole heartedly. You will not be disappointed!-southern girl
