I love the series, but i wonder if they ran out of story lines with this past one! Introducing another character was good….but not bringing back the nun who was attacked and had a mental breakdown…why didn’t she recover enough to come back, maybe as a secretary? And the ending for Barbara….was it needed? I know i read she wanted out of the series and other characters have left but. to have it end so sadly, was it needed? The big stories of thalidomide and the pill were big influences on our lives and in medicine back in the late 50’s and early 60’s, and they have touched on interracial babies and babies born to mentally challenged people ..and older couples and women who had enough babies…so have they run out? Having said this..I hope to season 8..and Trixie comes back, and there too, why did she have to let a perfect guy for her go by the wayside? Did she have to have a comeback of her drinking problem?-Zita Deremick

I absolutely love this series, I wish I could watch it in real time and not wait. I originally found this on Netflix and got hooked. Now I buy the series as it comes out because I can’t wait. It’s a very refreshing show amongst the norm that’s out there.-AP

Just happened to catch a show one night and got so interested I went back to watch all of the seasons. It is very interesting and you get really invested in the relationship of the people on the show. A fantastic view of London suburb of Poplar that was heavily bombed during the war and how people dealt with the post war years. Not all doom and gloom also very funny.-J. Smith
