Murdoch Mysteries: Series 12

DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:

A horrific murder at the public introduction of the Murdochs’ new residence designed by Frank Lloyd Wright puts the couple on the case.

I have loved watching this series and couldn’t wait for season 12 to arrive. I should have known this once great show was now dead in the water after watching the so-called season 11 Christmas Special! Which was Not about Christmas at ALL. This Use to be a relaxing funny show with some mocked up history set in Victorian times. No agendas, minimal political correctness and just a fun show to watch and get away from all the BS. Now it has turned into another liberal Agenda PUSHING piece of crap. A real shame. They had such a good thing going, I will miss it, but not that much. There are plenty of other good shows out there to spend my time on. Goodbye Canadian commie Murdoch and friends. Hope your decision to turn from being Actors to Politicans was worth it.

We’ve watched every episode of Murdoch Mysteries, and enjoyed them immensely. The characters are fully developed, their interactions are…well, human! The plots are smart and sometimes very intricate but always offer clues and some comic relief. In past seasons some plot lines were very serious, bordering on dark, but there is always a bright side and a solution that is satisfying. If you haven’t watched Murdoch, and want to binge watch a very engrossing and enjoyable show, it bears my highest recommendation. The device they use most effectively over the years continues into this season: Detective Murdoch, Constable Crabtree, and other guests had ‘invented’ many things one hundred years ago that are commonplace items today. That tradition continues in season 12. 5 stars. Highly recommended!
** Addendum to my prior comments. I, like others here, am extremely disappointed with Episode 4. I can not understand the ‘need’, expressed by those in entertainment, to make political comments. Why can’t they simply leave it alone? People of good character can agree to disagree on a host of issues. Why can’t we just watch a very enjoyable show with an excellent cast, without engaging in lectures and criticism of US immigration policy? This was a major unforced error on the part of the producers… Very unfortunate.
