Arm Wives season 7

DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:

Surprisingly….it took me 6 years to get around to watching the final season. Like many fans, I had a very difficult time adjusting to the loss of Kim Delaney as well as the realization that the majority of the original cast decided not to continue much farther than The end of their original contracted run. Obviously these decisions left the producers and show runner with some major challenges and when Lifetime began promoting the new and very different, re-tooled and re-launched version of Army Wive’s Season 7…Well, I unfortunately just disconnected. 6 years later, I’m just finishing the 13th episode of season 7 and I can not believe how disappointed I’m feeling that the network lost it’s faith. This production team did a remarkably good job breathing new life into Army Wives. In 13 episodes I managed to connect with all of the new characters. The recasting of this season was nothing short of brilliant! Alyssa Diaz, Kelli Williams, Jesse McCartney, Ashanti, Torrey DeVitto and Brooke Sheilds brought new life and fresh air into some thrilling new story lines and while I saw it coming from miles away, the new romance for General Holden was absolutely fantastic. The work that this team did to relaunch the series in season seven could have carried this show into a minimum of 10 seasons and kept it fresh and interesting. Boo to you Lifetime for the cancellation after season 7!

I loved the series, Army Wives. Season 7 was good, but just not the same as it started out. So missed the characters of Claudia Joy, Pamela and Roxy. I never warmed up to Brooke Shields. I was so disappointed that it did not last another season, and we were left wondering what happened. But I am not really surprised that it didn’t, because it definitely lost something after those characters left. It also bothered me that Roland gave Joan an ultimatum about the job and their marriage. Anyway, this is the second time watching the series and have it all on DVD except the first half of season six, which is price outrageously high. I can’t understand why it is priced like that just for hal
