for a final season this is pretty good. Elena learns that her birth father is alive and that he’s a Russian werewolf with two other children. her grandfather is the Alpha of the Russian pack. now the North American and Russian packs are going to war over the blood fud between the Russian Alpha and Elena’s father. with Elena being tired of all the spilled blood, lies, and secrets Elena decides to do the one thing that the packs have been trying to prevent for centuries. she decides to saw the world that werewolves are real. but Elena isn’t the one that is going to change in front of the crowd. her dad ask if he can do it as the last gift he gives his children. and now for Elena’s last act as Alpha of the North American pack is to burn Stone haven so that the names of all the werewolves in North America will never fall in the wrong hands.

This series was great, my limit on the number of stars is because they released the first season in blu ray but then did not distribute the last two seasons in blu ray. Aside from that, i loved this series – Laura was an amazing badass, Greg Bryk as the stoic pack leader was fantastic, and the rest of the cast also did a great job.

If you were hoping that Kelley Armstrong’s characters would finally get the treatment they deserve, you’re going to be disappointed. The writers and producers have totally lost it. Season 1 of the show was interesting, but not outstanding. An awful lot of liberties were taken with the plot and characters, most of which did not enhance the storytelling. Season introduced more characters from the books, but didn’t improve much in the storytelling and this season basically, s–ks. Sorry, but that’s the simple truth. Stick to the Women of the Otherworld series. Some great reading there with well developed characters who never quite made the transition to the small screen.
