Chicago Fire Season 2
DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:
Sept. 23rd…Season 3 premier…cannot get here soon enough. I bought Season 1 on Amazon Instant video. I had not been looking for new shows to follow because I have several longtime favorites I DVR and watch religiously. I checked this out based on my 71 y/o mother’s recommendation and was hooked! Is it all factual, true to firefighting and emergency medicine? No. I was an ER nurse, not somewhere like Chicago, but it’s entertainment and it does just that. The drama is engulfing. You get drawn into the personal struggles of these people and I am definitely invested in their lives…fictional though they are. I will be a staunch fan for years to come. The funny part, from my point of view, the actor who plays Lt. Matt Casey, Truck 51, was an irritating POS on House, M.D. But I like his portrayal in this show. And it doesn’t hurt one bit to goggle at Lt. Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney), sexy man with Irish Blue eyes!- CelticGyrl
This is an excellent television show. However, Prime’s version of it has an unequal (for lack of a better term) sound track for every episode. Volume has to be raised to hear the characters talk. When it switches to an action scene, the volume is loud enough to blow your ears back. You must constantly adjust the volume. The broadcast version of this show is not like this. The problem is with the Prime product.- Constant Reader In GA
I wasn’t sure I’d like yet another show of this type but I quickly got engrossed. The emotion that it draws is a testament to the powerful acting and writing. It’s a show that will make you laugh out loud, cry happy tears, and sob in sadness. I’m a very picky tv watcher and don’t watch a lot of current shows but this is so worth it! Taylor Kinney is a typical bad boy but plays the part in a way that makes you root for his character to always come out on top. Jesse Spencer is the angel to Taylor’s devil. I was a HUGE fan of third watch and sad that it hasn’t been released fully on DVD but this show surpasses that a million times over.- mary kittle
