Chicago P.D. Season 4

The Intelligence Unit of Chicago PD continue to walk the line in order to save lives and solve cases in Series 4 of this procedural drama. Sergeant Voight (Jason Beghe) is grieving his son’s death and Lindsay (Sophia Bush) tries to stay quiet as an internal investigation looks into the night the Intelligence Unit went after Justin’s killer. Platt (Amy Morton) pulls strings to get Burgess (Marina Squerciati) a new partner, reassigning Officer Julie Tay (Li Jun Li) from parking enforcement. This causes friction with Commander Fogel (Ian Bedford) who claims Platt went over his head to get her the position, but there may be more to her reassignment than meets the eye. Lindsay and Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) take the next step in their relationship. And Antonio (Jon Seda) struggles with a big decision after receiving a job offer that seems too good to pass up.

Chicago PD admirably seems to be moving away from entertaining but frivolous high-concept action-thriller stories and toward more topical story arcs concerning Chicago PD’s terrible reputation within the African-American community.-Stuart Galbraith
