Within the French secret service operates a clandestine branch of undercover agents. Dispatched to key locations all around the world and living under false identities for years at a time, their mission is to seek out and identify potential sources.

This is one of the best spy thrillers that I have ever seen. The missions are basically about intelligence gathering in foreign countries by taking on aliases known as legends, and living these alter egos for years whIle trying to obtain information and assets of value for France. The problem develops when Guillaume has to return home after spending six years in Syria in deep cover, and return to his true identity and readjust to life as it was when he left, but while still working for the agency in a consulting capacity. The lines become blurred, and things get very complicated very fast. This agent is one of their best. I mean he is very smooth with a poker face. This is not an action drama, but it is about intelligence gathering and the manipulation of circumstances and people to the benefit of the agency, which as a ring of truth to it. This is a very sophisticated and intelligently done drama which I highly recommend!- Sasquatch

Nice internecine intrigue with a love story undergirding the spy vs. spy concept. Started watching season 2. Nice to hear the French ( from someone who studied it into college) but it sure is fast paced dialogue and the CC aren’t much easier to catch–they go by in a flash. I ride the remote and stop and rewind the whole way to catch the CC and/or the French.- penny
