I love this show. As a child, I used to watch the “old” Hawaii Five-O and dream about what it would be like to live in Hawaii. Well, I made it and have a sincere fondness for the Islands and Peoples. Every season of the “new” Hawaii Five-O gets better at depicting some of the older ways of Island living. Even though some of the episodes border on unrealistic for Hawaii today, the scenery and usage of typical local dialect are always quite classic and surprising in every episode. When I am away from home, I always watch an episode or two when I get homesick.- Theresa

I think this last season was the best in a couple of years. Then they let Grace and Daniel go – how freaking stupid!!! The Steve and Danno bromance was getting really old, and the more recent roles that Grace and Daniel had nicely made up the difference. When you get down to it, they played more of a prominent part in recent years than Danno. Speaking of which, IMDB has Scott Cain as being in every episode, and anyone who is a regular knows that is far from the truth. I guess it counts if you mention their name during an episode.

Now rumor has it that the radiation sickness of Steve will be his excuse to leave at the end of Season 8 which typically means the end of the series – So Sad! What you will likely see is the CBS will try to milk as much money out of it as they can by extending it some way, but for us loyal fans, it died at the end of Season 7!
