Last Man Standing: Season 5

I have watched this show from the beginning and loved it from the first episode. I have all the seasons and was very sad when ABC cancelled it but extremely happy when FOX picked it up. I never miss an episode. I have such severe depression that I am on disability after working for almost 35 years and this is one show that will stop my crying and actually make me laugh out loud. I did not realize how much I missed laughing until I went back and watched the shows for a third and fourth time. Thank you Tim Allen and crew.- Karen Hartigan

i purchased this show on dvd. 2 of the 3 disks skipped, albeit not enough to make them unplayable or anything. actually this is the only time that i have encountered skipping were the show played fine but the audio completely cut out. this was only on one of the 2 disks that skipped. took out the disk and cleaned them, no change. but i skipped part of the episode in question both times and the rest of the disk ran fine.
now for the content, it has gone downhill enough that i actually looked up who the writer was to see if they hired a new writer for this season, the writer hasn’t changed according to the details here on amazon. this was more or less the only main stream show that portrayed conservatives in a more or less positive light, instead of calling us all backwards racist hicks. the show still makes fun of liberals but instead of the rational intelligent points being made it just makes conservatives seem like angry childish rich guys. im actually kind of wondering if fox told them that they had to tone down making fun of the networks political positions.
