This is great! I actually found season 5 more humorous than season 4, which in my opinion, was starting to get a little dry. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it seemed like something was missing or cut short? At the end of every episode we hear, “Living Single will be right back…”, but then it cuts directly to the theme song and the end. In the previous seasons, Living Single DID come right back with a little something before each episode ended and sometimes even a few cast out-takes which were fun. This makes me wonder if the episodes were cut in any way? Season 5 is also a smaller 2 disc set compared to the others. But with that said….it’s all good! Am just happy to FINALLY have all 5 seasons on DVD. As previously mentioned, season 5 is funny – it recaptures the humor seen in seasons 1 thru 3. I REALLY missed Terrence Carson’s character (Kyle) in season 5. I love all of the characters equally and everybody else on the show is hilarious as usual. They manage to carry on admirably without Kyle but his presence is missed. Still, Mel Jackson’s charactor adds some nice “Flavor” to the cast (pun intended) as a regular, there are several other surprise guests and I loved the way they wrapped everything up at the close of the show with a happy ending that couldn’t get any better. Don’t know if the episodes on this season have been cut or not, but yeah, go ‘head and buy it – it’s all good!-Clearance Rack
Thank goodness they FINALLY released these episodes! I remember watching this on TV and all I kept thinking is that I wished that I live in New York and could be like this ladies. And now I do live in NYC and have a career mixed between Kadijah and Sinclair. Thanks for releasing it; it meant a lot to me growing up!-Ally
