I, like so many other millions of people loved this show. Was saddened to see it go off the air. So many great story lines involving families, and day to day life! Acting was excellent as well as the writing! Many well known great actors. Once I got it I binge watched 2 shows every night for a few weeks.( I was in my glory!) now when the mood strikes me I go to certain episodes to watch. So real life, about everyday issues people face, love, sibling rivarily, divorce, dating, new relationships, drugs, illness, moving on from one job to another, alcolism, and ihow it can affect others… the lady st goes out n and on… oh how I love this tv series! Theme song always sticks in my mind( even though I am not a huge Bob Dylan fan.)-loves2read50
I have watched many series in my lifetime, both on TV, and those from ShowTime and HBO. Parenthood is so realistic, so interesting, so funny, sad, and sometimes crazy (just like real life); and even has a boy with Asbergers, who is so exceptional and so convincing, I had to research to see if this boy really has Asbergers or if he was truly that good of an actor. I loved this series, all the characters, that span to three generations. I loved it so much, in fact, that I purchased two full copies to later give as gifts to family members. I so miss this series, and felt such sadness and disappointment when it ended.-P. Wilson
I love this series, the best that I ever watched. Stories among family members are wonderful, true to life stories. It showed a lot of love and understanding among the family members, especially the parents who are the head of the family. All the actors performed very well especially the father ( actor Craig T. Nelson) who is the head of the family and Lauren Graham was wonderful. It is well written and well directed.- tpalma
