Person of Interest Season 5

DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:

Although the POI team have prevented numerous crimes thanks to The Machine’s omniscience, they were unable to stop the rival A.I. Samaritan from coming online and setting its sights on destroying what’s left of The Machine. On the run and without The Machine’s intel, the team must find a way to continue saving lives as they attempt to reboot The Machine and fight back against impossible odds.

Person of Interest is easily the best show on CBS. Most of the networks shows are formulaic and follow an all too familiar pattern. They have the usual assortment of quirky characters who exchange the customary quips and banter while dealing with supposed serious situations. You say a nuclear bomb is going to destroy Los Angeles, well I guess that means I won’t have to go with you to your mother’s. Ridiculous and nonsensical.
POI is altogether different and in a good way. I suspect this is owed to its creators most notably Jonathan Nolan. Nolan and his brother Christopher were the driving force behind the Dark Knight Trilogy. POI deals with substantive issues. Most notably the dangers and risk of building a true thinking machine. The heretofore unseen protagonist of this show is only known as “The Machine”. For those of us who think of the ramifications of building such a device this is the core of the show.
POI is insightful, witty and often times downright scary. It is easily the best show on network television.

I love this show. It’s the best show on television. This first episode all I can say is WOW. Starts off with a BANG! I hope the rest of the season is like this. Who am I kidding OF COURSE IT WILL BE AWESOME!!! I am so pissed CBS cancelled this series. It’s so far and away better than most of their shows currently broadcasting. I truly hope some other network picks this up. I think this show was WAY before its time. Again totally awesome show. The acting is superb and the story lines are so fresh and reviting. Everytime the show ends weekly I find myself wanting more. A lot of shows really can’t hold my attention. This show is not one of those shows. I’m glued to the tv till the very end the episode. Buy this series! Support this show! Show CBS they made a mistake in canceling this series. Again Best Show On Television!
