Royal Pains Season 6

DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:

Very addictive series!! The characters are great. They have all the right actors in this series. Never heard of it until about 3 weeks ago. Have allready watched 5 seasons. Now I can catch up on some of the sleep I had to skip to watch so many episodes. It was worth it. Wish it was a daily series instead of weekly. If you like medical series, this is really Macgyver like medical. It has mystery, drama, romance, and a little comedy. It has a little of everything to appeal to a lot of different people. Noticed that they promote iPad and mac book pro. Made me want apples tablet, really awesome. Enjoyed seeing some of what it can do. But until I’m a doctor I just can’t afford it…someday

I’m a big fan of this show. I’ve even seen them taping many scenes over the years (they tape frequently in my area) and met a slew of cast and crew.

Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy this season, but I feel like they are staying farther away from the MacGyver of Medicine style that made it such a unique show, and making it more of a drama.

I definitely do like all the characters and can certainly relate to them (although, admittedly, I have no clue what most of their medical jargon means). It is also a very well acted and produced show.

My only reccomdation is to bring it back to its roots. It used to be a fine mix of comedy, drama and medical stuff (due to lack of better word), and it could easily go back to that.

I had bought every season of this show and enjoyed the first five but this sixth one bored me. It is just the same old thing and nothing new. Now they have a half-sister who shows up but there is just something about all this that no longer holds my interest. Just all seems a bit too goody goody for me. Families are not like that. The drama seemed a bit contrived or at least more so than in the past.
