Six: Season 2

DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:

This show is becoming unbearable. When it focuses on actual SEAL-related missions and planning, it’s interesting. But the constant flashbacks, the pointless drama at home, and the whole CIA interrogation aspects make it pretty much impossible to really enjoy. SEAL Team (the show on CBS) has a far better formula for balancing the home life with the mission. I’m increasingly regretting buying season 2 of this show.

First season of the show was outstanding but this season took a complete nosedive. Also, the writers are bent on pursuing this strange anti Second Amendment sub plot. One of the Navy SEALs’ wives is being targeted by a vicious terrorist who has already killed another member of the SEAL team. Since her SEAL husband is frequently overseas and she’s left alone with her children, she decides to acquire a pistol to defend herself and her family from said terrorist. We’ll, it’s fairly obvious that the writers have a political agenda and so they characterize her decision as completely without merit and reckless. Not to mention that they appear to be implying that a simple housewife is incapable of learning how to safely and effectively defend her family.
