Teen Wolf Season 5

DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:

I’m a big Teen Wolf fan. However, I’m not a fan of body fluids, both natural and un-, running from various body cavities so often that I must avert my eyes for half of each episode. Okay, maybe not half, but enough, already.
I’m also tired of seeing superhero creatures get the crap beat out of them 90% of the time. Did Kira ever win a fight? Maybe one, as I recall.
Speaking of Kira, I’m hoping to see much less of her. There’s absolutely zero chemistry between her and Scott. She’s too “young” for him. (Yes, I’m talking about the actors.)
Also, humor. Seriously lacking this time. Get it back.
But…couldn’t bring myself to give it less than four stars. But I will next time, if some things don’t change.

The plot isn’t any different from your usual American series of the same genre. Nothing especially unique about this show except the underwear models that they hire as actors; their actors make the ones hired at the CW network look like third-rate models. The actors and actresses are very attractive people and one of the main reasons I watch this show. Some of the acting is pretty bad (Tyler Posey’s acting is meh) but then there is also some decent acting in there too (the girl who plays Malia comes to mind as I feel she really captures her character’s concept).
To sum it up;
Good things about this show:
– Suspense; they know how to create suspense and not the annoying kind that leaves you screaming “JUST TELL US ALREADY”.
– Plot flow; even though it’s not anything unique, they didn’t botch the execution of the plot.
– Attractive cast; who doesn’t like a physically attractive cast? Even the older people are attractive (Peter Hale)
– Supernatural; it’s a show with lots of supernatural elements. Need I say more?
– Some decent acting

Bad things:
– Some bad acting when compared to other popular shows of its genre
– Emotional scenes; maybe I am just desensitized, but I couldn’t really feel the impact I should have felt during the emotional scenes.
– Typical American story and character development for its genre; I guess you could say this is a neutral thing.
– I didn’t really feel the chemistry between the main couple; I felt the banshee had better chemistry with her man. I realize this isn’t a soap or romantic genre, but if you’re going to have a main couple, make it one with chemistry you can really see and feel.

Overall, I do recommend this show if not for the plot then for the attractive people they employ. It’s easier to overlook many of the bad things when the actors/actresses are attractive.

I am a fan of the show. I started watching the show with my teenage daughter. Now it is our weekly tv time together. I wasnt sure about the storyline with the Dread Doctors, but I enjoy the characters growth and their individual struggles this year.

The senior year of high school for any student is a difficult transition. The Beacon Hill senior class have the add stress of Dread Doctors appearing and disappearing at a moments notice. Theo has caused so much havoc, but why? Relationships are tested and we are left hanging with so many broken relationships. Stiles and Malia uncertain. Kira and Scott, uncertain… Parrish and Lydia, smoking…and the most important relationship, Scott and Stiles. They can not break up!

Overall a decent season. I need the Dread Doctors to wrap this up. Will the best turn out to be Allison, who knows, i can hope. Keep bringing the heat Teen Wolf, from a non teen fan.
