The Expanse is the best sci-fi to come out in years. How do people not know about this show?

This show can be enjoyed by anyone that enjoys complex well written characters and human drama; science fiction is merely the backdrop to tell these stories. I support sci-fi and TV shows of this caliber and the only way great shows like this can survive is by supporting the show with my dollars. I’m buying Season 3 to show my support and to look forward to a 4th season.

The Expanse explores the nature of human conflict, community, culture, power structures, powerlessness, and so much more; the characters and worlds built are rich and engrossing. I am rooting for humanity, despite all of its flaws.

First if you look at the two negative reviews on this they’re both not related to the show itself so of the legitimate reviews they’re all five stars . Second the show is full of wonder. It’s one of those shows where you’ll see a character do something that just does not make sense later on when they talk to one another they explain the thought process behind it makes perfect sense anyone who is playing a computer game that found the most enjoyment just discovering what is possible in that universe and found that the most enjoyable part of the game on this TV series fascinating for both seasons that I’ve seen so far. thiS show is full of intrigue. just when everything starts to make sense something new happens that changes everything and not in a”OH COME ON ” type way either.
It’s based on a book series I like most of the series of that ilk, it’s clearly more thought out then a regular TV show.

Great series. The books by James S. A. Corey are even better than the TV series (James SA Corey are actually two authors with melded pseudonym.) The TV version is loosely based on the original story line but a refreshing approach to TV SciFi. Refreshing because general physics is not ignored because it’s inconvenient or expensive to reproduce on screen. Gravity inconvenient? Make it go away! Inertia troublesome? Just explain it away. Not here!!! These are real life issues and add to it the human equation that HAS NEVER CHANGED throughout history even with technological advances. There is still politics, ambition, bigotry, etc. Can’t explain that away, ala Star Trek. (“we did away with poverty and human needs a long time ago but none of our story lines reflect that reality.)
This series has room to grow and will keep you engrossed. Hope it doesn’t go the way of great creations such as Firefly, Doll House, Dead Like Me, or Pushing Daisies!
