The Walking Dead Season 6
DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:
The Walking Dead returns. With no hope of safety in Alexandria, Rick’s group is forced to resume their precarious fight for survival; for a chance at normalcy in a world of chaos.
The Limited Edition just arrived and I have to say I am quite disappointed in the quality for the price paid. It seems they have gone downhill since the intense popularity of the Season 2 Limited Edition and are trying to sucker us in. I have all Limited Editions since Season 2 – I guess that makes me Sucker Prime #1 – and this is the lowest on the totem pole. Do yourself a favor and wait a while. No doubt it will drop to less than half the listed price just like the Limited Edition of Season 4.

I never liked horror movies, zombie movies, and the like. I found them disturbing; not the way that makes me check under my bed at night, but I just found them to be too creepy and too gory.
A friend of mine pleaded that I really should give the show “The Walking Dead” a chance…so I did…
Was I disturbed?? Definitely..!! Creeped out to no end..??? Absolutely..!
BUT…I started becoming really enthralled with the story, and eventually even became somewhat “numb” to the icky, scary zombies that are awkwardly limping and shuffling around everywhere, with their most disgusting signature-snarl…
The story about the different groups (or sometimes just a single person) of survivors is absolutely gripping. Rick Grimes, Carol, Maggie & Glenn, Daryl, Hershel, Michonne,…they all quickly became “my family” for whom I rooted, feared, felt proud, and/or cried in grief.
This show truly is absolutely terrific, and I am so glad that I listened to my friend and gave “The Walking Dead” a chance. It unreservedly earned it.
Now I’m suffering withdrawal until the next season comes out…

Look… I am so sick of Walking Dead “fans” that moan & complain about every single episode. This show is as close to perfection as you will find out there… and if there is any doubt about that, then exhibit A is Season 6.
The show started great and has improved year after year. For me–an actual fan and not a “fan”–Season 6 is my favorite. The writing is tight and the performances are award worthy… and, just a quick tangent–speaking of awards: why is a show with incest, dragons and frozen zombies heavily nominated for Emmies and a far more realistic show with regular zombies snubbed year after year? Don’t get me wrong–I love Game of Thrones–but it just seems so wrong. Is it cause one show is based on a literary book and the other is based on a comic book? If so, I have to say, at least Robert Kirkman actually continues to write and finish his projects in a timely fashion… ya’ hear me over there, Mr. R.R. Martin?
Anyhow… Season 6 is, in my honest opinion, absolute perfection! And if you are, in fact, one of THOSE “fans” and all you do is complain… may I suggest you go watch a show you actually enjoy, like Big Bang Theory or some other inane swill, and let the actual fans of TWD appreciate the show we so dearly love. Thanks! Buh-bye and hope this helps.
