If I had more than 2 thumbs, Timeless would get every single one. The best show I have ever loved!

Open plot threads and dangling cliff hangers left over from the first season are built upon in the sophomore season of this clever and entertaining time travel program. Of course, new complications and villains are introduced along the way and the welcome opportunity arises to develop the supporting characters to a far greater degree than in the first year.
A bit of a vanilla DVD release sporting some deleted scenes and an amusing gag reel, but the image quality, sound and overall presentation are top flight for a standard definition release. Both seasons would benefit from a Blu-Ray re-release to showcase the exceptionally attractive production design and attention to historical detail that has been a hallmark of this series and an opportunity for commentary from the cast and crew. Perhaps after the series conclusion an HD box set of the whole series might be in order? Certainly the highly vocal fan base would snap up such an offer…

Timeless is an excellently produced show. From the strong characters and stories to the incredible historical costuming and set design it never disappoints, and it is about the ONLY show on network television that we can watch as a family. Kudos to the creative team for crafting a production with such educational and entertainment merit without falling back on inappropriate gimmicks and situations. Seriously the best show on television and unlike any other. I am still stunned that it hasn’t been picked up by another network for season 3! Still disgusted that NBC doesn’t see the value in a show of this type and would rather fill their line-up with cheap cookie-cutter shows full of inappropriate situations and gags.
