True Blood season 5

It’s back! After a let down season 4, True Blood roars back with smart, edgy and funny episodes, largely carried by the return of Russel Edgington. Eric is Eric again, and Tara comes back thanks to some lesbian vampire blood. The whole Vampire Council though, is pretty disappointing. Some of the characters were laughable at best. There is a lot of nudity in this season, not the least of which is the Lilith character who comes and goes throughout. The story of the fairies is advanced as Sookie and Jason learn more about them, and Andy gets a return visit from his pregnant Fairie paramour. The werewolves are involved, but largely in a separate storyline. Overall, a very entertaining, sexy and funny season that is really satisfying to watch. Well Done!-Pen Name

Here I thought season 4 was very twisted and emtional, but this season 5 was far more emtional and full of twist turns that even I never saw coming as I tried to guess as I watch the season episode by episode. As normal had mutiple storylines and I enjoy the guess star from Law and Order SVU was an added treat within the season and was like I reconize him and like him as an actor. I will not do spoilers but the overall storyline of vampire verses vampire lived up to the hyped, but some of the other storylines I can tell are losing some of their fire meaning I think they lost their normal story writers for the show. If that was the case I can tell why Alan Ball left this show and his creation after this season. Although I have watched this show since the start I still plan to finish the show season 6 and 7 just to see how it ends for my own eyes. Just like I read th stories on Dexter and how it ended and still got all the seasons and enjoyed that showed all the way to the end. So in closing if you still love one liners and storylines you will enjoy watching threwout the whole season and a few that make you go what the heck is going on here then you will love this season of True Blood. But like end of season 4 the end scene for season 5 made my mouth drop open and say oh my God really this is amazing.

I was hesitant to see another vampire movie (series) but this is so much more than that. This series is intoxicating and addictive. You have everything from unique violence to unique sex. The main plot of the story keeps you glued to your seat not wanting to miss anything. It moves very fast!. The writing reminds me of the ‘Walking Dead’ except that here it goes at the speed of light in comparison. You still have no problems in keeping track of the subplots since they all come together around ‘Sooky’ who has natural powers that she is not aware of having for the most part. Still, she is sought after by vampires in hopping to get her blood and be able to be in daylight. I don’t want to give anything away except what I already said. Be prepared to have an open mind, you will laugh and may be even cry. I did a lot of laughing!
