I have always been a huge fan of the show. It would’ve been a no-brainer to rate it 5 stars for being one of the funniest shows around, but I just discovered that the season 8 case only had one disc as opposed to the normal 4 in each season. Of course I missed the return window by 13 days but I didn’t think I had to open each box to make sure all disc were included. But reading other reviews and not seeing anyone else with this problem, I guess this was a freak instance.-David R.
I don’t like how I was supposed to receive new DVD’s but instead got used ones that were plastic wrapped. I got this as a gift for my husband for Valentine’s Day. Season 1 was visibly worn. Season 10 didn’t have a cardboard case on it like the other seasons did. I’m very unhappy with this purchase. After reading reviews from other people, I wouldn’t be surprised if I opened the cases and found that DVDs are missing or don’t play. I won’t be opening the plastic because I don’t want to be blamed for the problems we found with the DVDs.Editing to say: I ordered a replacement and sent back the DVDs that I first got. The second set looked exactly like the first. The boxes were worn and season 10 was missing it’s cardboard cover. We decided to deal with it and keep it anyway since this was the SECOND TIME we ordered this disc set. We opened season one and disc 3 was so unbelievably scratched that it wouldn’t play. I’m beyond furious with the quality of these DVDs.-Sarah T
This is a very funny show. Charlie and Allan have two different personalities, yet are not killing each other in each episode. Well almost not. I am on the end of season 2 and disc 4 is defective. There are 3 episodes followed by bonus material. The 3 episodes tend to lose audio sporadically. This is very annoying. Does this happen to anyone else? I have read some reviews here stating some discs will not play. Mine do play, at least so far, but the audio and picture cease playing for a second or two, yet continue playing. I am assuming it is too late to get a replacement disc.- Robert Nodge
