12 Monkeys Season 4

DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:

I LOVE all 4 seasons of this show!! I binged watched all 4 seasons, I am obsessed!! Cannot wait for the series finale (though I am SO sad this is the last season?). Everything about this show is GREAT (the writing, cast, effects, everything!!). Such a hidden gem, I truly cannot believe I never heard of this show before! The production is movie quality & very impressive. I am certainly going to be checking to see what other shows the SyFy channel (who knew?!!) has out there!

Much like any piece of media involving time travel, this show has exposed itself to potential plot holes and critiques. But the flaws are barely a noticeable part of the overall whole. I’ve watched my fair share of television and I honestly can’t name a more satisfying series finale than the one on this show. It appealed to my nostalgia, brought back prior characters in useful ways, injected hope in my world, gave purposeful endings to all of the main characters, had good action sequences, answered the long-running mythology questions, valued love and emotion, and included enough easter eggs and inside jokes to make rewatching the entire series (now with extra hindsight) something worth doing over and over again. Whoever wrote the show bible or managed the script continuity doesn’t just deserve awards and accolades, awards and accolades should be named after them. I highly recommend the entire show.

Man, if this were the 80s this show would be considered an all time classic. However most shows today have to be extremely simple, not make sense, and be about sex and drugs to be popular. Some other recent shows I checked out had hidden proganda messages throughout regarding gender, race, and politics but this show remained as pure entertainment for everyone. I just rewatched the entire season 4 again and the ending made me tear up for a second time and I am considered a big strong tough guy. Mainly because I think about my own life while watching it so I get really emotional. I am sad that it ended and will keep an eye out for any show that Aaron Stanford is in since the last two (this and Nikita) have been two of my favs.
