2 Broke Girls: The Complete Series 1-6

DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:

Well, the show itself needs no more comment. Either you like the humor, or not. I did most of the time. (There are always weaknesses in a show running over several years.) Often even laughed my head off.

However, to the box set itself: Seasons 1 – 4 and 6 were complete and unharmed (no scratches etc.), but Season 5 only contained the third disc, not Discs 1 and 2. I was a little annoyed about that since the price to get it here (Germany) wasn’t exactly cheap. (Reordered Season 5, and it arrived complete with all discs intact and very quick.)

What’s not to love?? A complete set of all of the fantastic episodes of one of my absolute favorite shows!!!! This is an amazing DVD set, and even though the price may seem steep, it’s actually cheaper to buy this set rather than all the seasons separately.

I had not watched this show on TV but I had seen ads for it and it looked interesting. Some of the reviews were only mediocre, so I didn’t know what to expect. In the first few episodes, the characters seemed a bit wooden or hard to get used to, but after a few shows, they grow on you. The two girls have a unique chemistry and there are a lot of goofy but likable characters on the show. Some of the lines are a bit raunchy or suggestive but the show is fairly funny. I like the Max character’s quirky reserved sarcasm. I don’t know if this show will go on to be a classic, but it isn’t bad if you like restaurant-based sitcoms.
