We love it, the whole family. Ranks right up there with “Doc Martin” for fun, story, beautiful setting, humor, and so many unique characters that each one is a scene stealer. Widower George writes a magazine column always using 800 words, adding pertinent philosophy to each episode.
So what if this series will not have a season 5 (discontinued at this point, will they change their mind?). It is a fantastic family-oriented series and this DVD is only the beginning of the second half of the four years of a cleaver television comedy/drama. It became an award winner from the start. Really great writing and acting, and a setting that will make you want to travel down under. Well-developed characters and each carries their own storyline. Good on ya.
