As a HUGE fan of the original series, this movie had me in full nerd mode from beginning to end. Just so you know, this isn’t the spandex wearing 90s version, this is a modern and darker version. Each ranger is represented correctly, Rita is creepy as hell, Zordon is cool and Alpha 5 is an updated version. The CGI isn’t over the top and at times, it awesome. It will have you at the edge of your seat, make you laugh and even make you cry. I hope to someday see a part 2. Remember, once a ranger, always a ranger!!- Bob

I was never into Power Rangers before, but I truly enjoy this movie as it explains a lot about how the Power Rangers came to be and it had plenty of moments when you want to celebrate the comebacks that the good kids have against the bad kids. It was nice to see how bullies are dealt with in this movie. Pretty much the story deals with bullying even with the Power Ranger bad guys who were bullying the Power Rangers about how they were not capable, how they are weak, how they can never work as a team. What was nice was that everyone on the team can be strong only if they can build a bond with each other. I felt that the story was not only entertaining, but it had humor and good messages about friendship and teamwork and winning against bullying.- nyc

This was a really good reboot for a series that I so nostalgically cherish from my childhood! Would watch again. I loved the way this whole movie was handled, everything from the aesthetics, to the back story, to the changes they made to make it fresh and modern. Based on the ending I am hoping they will eventually get to a sequel. It would be interesting to see how the kids deal with their new found powers and interact with other non-hero/villain characters.

I love this movie. I originally had it on DVD but I wanted all the bonus features so I have now bought it on blu ray. It is not a cheesy throw back to the nineties hit TV show as many might fear. It is as realistic as a super hero film can be. It gas a great story line and none if the characters really take a back seat. This is the original traditional power ranger group of the red,blue,pink,black,and yellow. The casting was really good,the actors had great chemistry. I hope they make a sequel.
