American Gods season 2

DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:

I just canceled my Starz subscription after Season 2, Episode 5, and would like to share why. I really enjoyed Season One, but as in any book someone is trying to convert into an infinite series, they have “deviated from the source material” in season two into meandering subplots about lynching blacks, oppression and social justice themes, and it is becoming clear the series is just treading water. You have these really fine actors standing around with nothing to say but pablum. I am waiting around for the conclusion that will never happen because they want season 3, then 4. A waste of talent. Anyway, I am out. I wish they had just filmed the book and made a great and memorable mini-series–the telling of the story in the book, instead of making it into Pokemon.

it was one of my most favorate books, I even listened to the first version of the audio book god knows how many times.
i loved the first season, this one is just one guilt trip after another, they had to involve politics, they just had too, just like with the star wars movies. you know I work hard and I didnt use to care about politics, I just want to watch something that takes me to a different place and time where i dont hate my life as much. now again, one of my favorate stories is being used to push political agenda. God i just want to watch a good story and forget this world.
