Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 3
DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:
This series is at times laugh out loud funny, but mostly quiet chuckle funny. Though frequently silly, the tenderness of the characters and the careful development and progression of their personalities makes the series even more fun than the individual episodes. These are not the same stale characters that solve similar crimes each week, they are slowly growing and maturing, influenced by one another. They tackle real relationship challenges (desire to win a boss’ approval, how to manage a work place relationship, balancing a desire to earn trust and respect with the desire to be liked and appreciated) in fresh ways rather than going with what “works” in other sitcoms (couples constantly breaking up and getting back together).

I’ve been a fan of ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ from the beginning, and just can’t enough of this show. It’s consistently funny, with an awesome cast and creative team (writers, directors, etc.). I’m thankful for the ongoing DVD releases, which make it easy to re-watch episodes, binge watch when a big dose of laughter is needed, and pause / rewind when needed to catch a missed moment. Great series!

Always pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoy this show. I am not normally a big fan of comedy sitcoms in recent years. I find too much of an emphasize on relationships and constant cultural references. This show is more clever than you would expect, the characters are good, and they have good comedic chemistry. A show is always better when it seems like the actors get along and play off of eachother and that is definitely true of Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
