Community Season 4

DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:

While season 4 is not without its flaws, it is still comparably one of the best shows on television. Port and Guarascio had an overwhelming task on their hands trying to make a show without its creator. As most fans of the show know, Dan Harmon was basically the machine that the (amazing, incredibly talented) writers room inputted jokes into while he outputted the heart and soul of Community. Because of this it seems like they were trying to just recreate the magic of the previous seasons by giving fans what they thought they wanted, and throwing in a few callbacks for good measure (Pop Pop!). Despite this I feel like no true community fan should pass this up. While it may feel like a cadbury egg without the creme in it, you can’t get to Six Seasons and a Movie without season 4.- Aaron

While there was definitely an element of the old Community missing, after watching the whole series again there is NO gas leak that I could find. I remember watching the season on tv and feeling disappointed. Yet, after finishing the season in the 3 nights on dvd, I realized everything is still here for the most part. The jokes, the story, the characters, and even the feels. So many feels. Almost every episode had at least one moment where I wanted to say “aaawwweee” similar to Annie and Shirly.What’s interesting is that I enjoyed this season on dvd better then season 5. And Season 5 has Dan Harmon back. I’m really not sure why, but Season 4 still does it for me. If you ignore all those who are saying it’s terrible because of no Dan Harmon, you may find yourself surprised. I know I was.-Daniel MacLean

I was very hesitant to get this season. Specially after all the bad blood between the creator of the show being kicked out, and new writers. The price was right though, and I bought it anyways. It may have been my low expectations, but this season was actually really great. My only complaint is the season ended kinda meh. This definitely is a great season to watch though despite what everyone is saying about it.-Miltron
