Fear The Walking Dead Season 2 [Blu-ray]

I feel as if people are unfairly comparing the beginning seasons of FTWD to the last few seasons of TWD which is resulting in many mixed reviews. FTWD is a different perspective and has, in my opinion, a more interesting take on the outbreak than TWD. I’m just happy that the FTWD survivors haven’t been on a damned farm or stuck in a jail for an ENTIRE effing season. I haven’t been bored with FTWD once. FTWD is well worth the buy if you’re a TWD fan.- Cameron Inglis
The show takes a different direction from the first season by moving onto the water which was a cool concept they mostly used to their advantage. The look of the show and direction is beautiful. Characters are definitely changed by the end of the season and we’ve seen a lot more of TWD universe.
I wish they’d address the pace of the story better. The compressed timeline seemed to serve no purpose than to make character evolution harder to buy into. A lot of the plot and seemingly abrupt shifts in character would make more sense if they had weeks between events rather than days or even hours in many cases. It seems like a detail they just lost track of when it could have been a great tool. That said things are set up well for S3 if they take what worked from S2 and had more fun with it going forward. 3.5 out of 5 stars.- H. Storm
Love the show! Season 2 is great. It is exactly what I would expect from the people of the world where the virus is starting to take over. Their actions and reactions make the show exciting. It is my hope that eventually; that is, in the distant future, some of the survivors from Fear of the Walking Dead will meet up with some of the survivors from the Walking Dead series. The episode 15 gives me hope that the writers will eventually merge the two shows. Perhaps the survivors of the Colonia group that has now crossed over into California will eventually set sail and end up at the Port of Alexandria and meet up with the Alexandria group. I think that would be absolutely terrific move, but, no matter what direction the writers choose to take this show, I will be watching. After all, I thought that Fear of the Walking Dead aired to show the state of the world at the onset of the virus because people had so many questions after looking at the Walking Dead about the beginning days of the virus. I am a loyal fan of both shows! I like how this show lets us see the virus invading the coastal regions and the other regions of the world, like Mexico. Its lets us know that the virus is not just in the US, but it is invading other regions of the world. Episode 14 and 15 of the Fear of the Walking Dead were the best this season. These episodes were filled with much action and suspense. Strand is one cool character. I hope that Strand survives and meets back up with Madison, Travis and Alicia. I am so hooked on the Fear of the Walking Dead show, but I have been hooked since the show first started. This show is truly getting better and better with time!- CJ
