Grimm Season 4 [Blu-ray]

DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:

After 4 seasons, I’m sure you know what it’s about and I’ll save you from reading what you already know.
That said, I enjoyed this season, but not as much as last season.
I do not like the dark place they have taken Juliette at all, I feel it was pushed to far.
To me she carried a sweetness to a show which already has enough darkness ” considering, what it’s about ”
I don’t know where the writers are going to pick this up next season but they need to tread slowly as entering the 5th season this could cause the ending of a show I look fwd to seeing.
The incident with the trailer was just to over the top and leads me to feel it was another mistake by the writers.

I’d like to see Sargent Wu show a wider range of acting skills he seems very one note to me..
Alas, Nicks Mom, why oh why oh why?
I think they the last episodes were just to much over-kill and may cripple the show
It’s gotten very rushed too many NEW people all gunning for the same thing.
It happened with the witches of Eastend and I saw it coming and see it again

Grimm is a great show with great characters and an overall arcing story behind the monster of the week plots. It’s good. I like it. There’s not really any character I dislike even a little.

Season 4 is kind of ‘meh’ for me. It’s got a little too much going on? (SPOILERS) On the one hand you have Juliette turning evil at the drop of a dime; she’s literally getting evil flashes one minute then is full-on a bad guy hating everyone enough to kill people close to her. It feels forced and I guess was supposed to be edgy and dark but we never had any hint of any darkness in her personality, and if it’s because of her hexen-stuff then wouldn’t all hexenbeists be evil? And Sean’s mom isn’t, so. Meh.

Then there’s Sean being momentarily possessed. It kind of comes out of nowhere and then later gets wrapped up in like one episode. Would have been fine if it wasn’t kind of rushed like that. This is a long show with 20-23 episodes a season, I feel like a little more time could have been put into developing that subplot but in the end it comes and goes pretty quickly and nothing really comes out of it. Felt kind of pointless.

Still really love the show, but all in all, this is my least favorite season.

How couldn’t you not love the Grimm series? Everyone has a Hexinbeast or two in their lives. In today’s terminology they would be known as a person with Borderline Personality Disorder. And the rest of the cast is just perfect. Many series run out of storylines after several seasons, but not Grimm. It just keeps getting better and better. Its a well organized series, completing most storylines in one episode and carrying on others for a long period of time. A perfect combination.
The casting for the show is great. You love to love characters like Rosalee and Monroe, and new Wesen characters in each episode add spark to the show. Was glad to see Julianne terminated at the end of the 4th series. There seemed to be no real chemistry with her and Nick.
The series has made great use of the city of Portland with multiple locations many of them with beautiful scenery. Am enjoying the 5th series currently.
