Jack Irish Season 2

Jack Irish has quickly become one of my family’s most cherished characters. We have always appreciated the talent of Guy Pearce and this character is the winner, the locale and each and every supporting character all so fittingly superb. We watched the first season a year or more ago and then discovered The Movie for the backstory. Were concerned that the series wouldn’t continue, and were delighted when Season 2 was released. The only downer is when the last episode finishes and we can only hope there is a next season!- S. A. Walsh

I enjoyed all of the past versions of Jack Irish that I watched, so I was very happy to discover a new series of episodes – only wish there was more than these 6. I seem to recall thinking that it started out slow, but quickly ramped back up to the high quality of the movies and 1st series. Quite an enjoyable ride; and I appreciate how the characters bring humor and fun along for the ride while keeping the drama very interesting. Well worth the cost and time. Hope more follow in the not-too-distant future.- Ronald B

The movies, series one, and it is still going strong. The character is consistent along with his modge podge of associates (unless they die in real life then they always do a nice tribute). The stories are intriguing though you might think Australia is the most corrupt country in the world. Not a waste of money. Kept my interest from play to extras.-Nizza
