I have strong convictions that British drama is the best in the world/ Line of Duty continues to deliver on it story, suspense and complex structure. It is testament to great writing, acting and directing. Goes to show that to make great crime TV you don’t need any sex or porn to sell it. I hope other producers take note. It is very hard these days to find good TV that is free of mainstream porn. Somehow a few producers still think there isn’t enough porn out there and fill their ‘drama’ with bad porn. So if you are tired of fast forwarding through bad TV or quitting in the first 10 minutes of almost every new drama coming out, well watch this series. Actually any British drama for that matter.- She Knows
This is the best TV series ever! I own all four seasons, and love how they are all connected. When Season 2 came along, I said whoa — this is connected to Season 1. Then I had to rewatch Season 1 again to be sure. Same with Seasons 3 and 4. I can’t wait for 5 (although it may not be out for over a year). American TV cannot compare to the Brits, the Aussies (the American remake of Secrets and Lies was greatly inferior to the original Aussie version), the Irish (The Fall, anyone?), or the Kiwis.- Streaming Addict
I can’t say enough about this series. Each season seems to get better rather than devolving into formula plot lines the way most popular programs do. Both the ‘good guys’ (AC-12’s Anti-Corruption Unit) and the bad – a wonderful variety of complex characters, are always fascinating and determining which is which is never easy. I won’t go into details on this season except to say it was one of the more complex, convoluted plots yet and Thandie Newton was tremendous as the cop under investigation. The entire cast of regulars are just terrific, trying to do a difficult job which puts them at odds with their own fellow police offices….more, please…..much more.- Karen M. Rodiek
