Star Wars Rebels: Season 4 [Blu-ray]
DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:
Everything about this series, from seasons one to four, was brilliant!A great way to tie-in to the movies– same goes for “Clone Wars”!My only beef has to be the use the TIE Interceptor, which doesn’t show until Episode VI.Thrawn was a nice touch, even though he’s a character from post Episode VI Expanded Universe,Heavy fan service is to be expected in a Disney era Star Wars TV show.- Sk8skot
I’ve enjoyed this series since it began, and I’m not disappointed at all with the last season. The only thing that irked me was having to wait so long for its release. Even though it doesn’t look like there will be any more seasons episodes, there is a hint that the characters could be brought back. Whatever happens happens.- Jeff, Young Old-Timer
but fortunately it goes out with a bang and a satisfying ending. Season 4 is shorter than the others, but each episode is jam-packed and better than the one before it. Those of us who are old-school Expanded Universe fans will see Rukh, Thrawn’s assassin (although he was his bodyguard in the books), and he is every bit as tough as ever. Although there is one thing in particular that will probably break your heart, it is very much worth watching. I hope this is not the last we see of some of these characters.Just a side note here: I don’t have much of a problem with the direction Disney is taking with the main saga (episodes 7 and 8 so far), but is it just me or does it seem that Rebels and Rogue One- these peripheral stories- are actually kinda better? I feel the same about Solo as well. The only thing I didn’t like about that one was the guy who played young Han Solo. However, many people didn’t like it without even seeing it- they boycotted it because they were unhappy with The Last Jedi. While I can see their point of view, I still don’t see how it changes life as we know it. So it wasn’t what they were hoping, so what? The Last Jedi does not stand alone- it’s part of a series, and maybe it will make more sense after seeing the next one. And even if not, GET OVER IT!- Clay E.
