The Big Bang Theory Season 3 [Blu-ray]
DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:
Confession : I’m bing-watching BBT now that its come to an end and its brought back a lot of memories and also a lot of surprises
I was surprised how early Bernadette was introduced as Howard’s character seemed to be the last to settle into a relationship.
Also didn’t realize that Amy was introduced at the end of season 3 completing the ensemble cast that would run for 9 more seasons
I hadn’t paid too much attention to the ups and downs of the Leonard + Penny relationship the first time I watched, but the writers deserve credit for keeping it interesting for so many seasons ( with the possible exception of season 12 when it seemed to be marking time until the end)
Penny’s other relationship – with Sheldon – is perhaps even more interesting and one that was returned to in the final episode. In season 3 they move from not understanding or liking each other ( this is the season when Sheldon tries to train Penny wth operant conditioning) to the great episode where Sheldon takes Penny to the hospital and they begin to care for each other. Even the writers may have been surprised by their odd chemistry.- Keith C.
We have never been fans of sitcoms. This was recommended to us by a friend and to appease her, we watched an episode a couple years ago. After that, we became hooked and looked forward to watching it each night since several episodes run back-to-back each evening. We decided that we needed to own each of the seasons as they came out so we could see them in their intended order. The individual characters are lovable in their own way and I love the fact that they included a character with selective mutism. Our favorites are Sheldon and Bernadette (she is introduced in a later season), though the series would not be the same if any one of them was phased out of the series. The storyline continues to develop nicely and it hasn’t reached the point of becoming stale any time soon. The series is geared toward a mature audience. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a well-developed group of quirky characters.-Karenann
