The Middle season six

DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:

This little family-centric comedy just keeps getting better and better as the kids grow up and the stories get a bit more complicated. From Axl’s misadventures in college in past seasons, we now see him embarking on a more serious relationship, figuring out that his siblings are actually human beings, and actually contemplating life outside his own needs. Brick’s quirks are still there, but he’s growing into them with a bit of style! And Sue – to my mind, Ms. Sher is by far the best young comedian on TV – is still indomitable, upbeat and completely engaging. The purple glitter glue and gold stars still adorn her notebook but she has faced some adult issues: falling in love; moving on from a relationship; planning her future; and never giving up on family and friends, she is growing into an amazing young woman who marches to her own brightly clad drummer. As you can tell, I love this show! This was an excellent season of transition. Such a treat, also, to seethe depiction of a working-class family, often struggling to make ends meet, but never giving up on one another. Highly recommended.- FilmGeezer

My daughter and I just love this show, and were waiting eagerly to get the new season on DVD. With her activities, we are gone a lot in the evenings when it comes on, so we wait until it comes out on DVD and binge-watch a full season, and then watch some shows over later, just because we like it so much. My only complaint: No subtitles or closed captioning on the last 2 seasons. I’m hearing-impaired and really appreciate subtitles and closed captioning.- Cindy M

“the middle” an absolute gem.If you are new to “the middle”, this sitcom focuses on the Heck family – they live in Indiana, in the middle of the country. They live in a small town like many in the middle do, they struggle to make ends meet like those in the middle have to do, they have average kids (mostly) like most of us do, and in pretty much every way are in the middle, geographically, economically, educationally, etc.The casting is awesome. Mike and Frankie are the parents to Axl, Sue and Brick. To get some insight into the show, the Hecks thought that giving a child a cool name would help make them cool – that just didn’t work out for Brick. Axl ruled HS but is finding life in a bigger pond to be a challenge. Sue is socially invisible to just about everyone, and Brick lives in and through books.- Alan Holyoak
