I went to college originally on a voice scholarship and I love ALL musicals. I have become a huge fan of this movie because of the social commentary that is underlying in this musical. I hate prejudice and bullying more than anything and this movie allows me to hope for a future that indeed, “This Could Be Ordinary”. I cry through some songs because of the way I feel when hearing and singing them. And I am not a “spring chicken”. I just love musicals and the way that some can change the world.-CW

I don’t know what it is about this movie, but my 5 year old loves it! And I also catch myself and my husband singing along to most of the songs! There is a slight political under tone in the movie, but I’m so glad that overall it’s teaching kids to treat everyone the same regardless of stereotypes-Baby

I have been a fan of Disney Channel Original Movies since I was born. While this will not go down in the halls of fame with such classics as High School Musical or the Lizzie McGuire Movie, it was engaging. Some of the songs were bops! However, I did find myself getting bored and checking my phone multiple time throughout the film. That being said, I don’t feel as if I wasted my time watching it. If you’re looking for a cute film with undertones about racism (but not as good and amazing as Zootopia) then here ya go.- sarah_baerah

My almost 7 year old daughter LOVES this movie and watched it multiple times after we recorded it when Disney aired it. It was a MUST purchase once it came out. Catchy tunes and a pretty good story line about it being okay to be different and unique!-Regina
