Fantastic – by far the most amazing-looking show or movie I’ve seen on an ultra hd tv. Aside from the amazing camera work, I also like that it is full screen and does not have the annoying black bars at the top and bottom of the picture. I thought Planet Earth 2 looks amazing streaming in 4K from Netflix (and it does) but it does not compare to a disc. If you’re like me and only plan on having a few actual discs in this age of Netflix and everything streaming, Blue Planet 2 is a great one to have.-Nathan Anderson

Amazing footage as expected. Pre-ordered this season so I will be watching weekly for the next couple months. People who rated this 1 star because they didn’t read that it was a pre-order should go away… I have been a huge Planet Earth and Blue Planet fan and this definitely lived up to the hype. It is only available for streaming 1080p right now, but hopefully later on a 4k version will be available to stream.- John

Wow…just wow. Let me just start off by saying, I never write reviews. I have always loved Planet Earth series and this is the exact example on why! It is a VERY WELL DONE documentary. And watching it, it does not even feel like it is one. At the same time, us as humans get caught up in our routines and daily life and forget just how amazing, beautiful, dangerous and inspiring the world that we live in is and take for granted. This will make you say “wow” and may even drop your jaw a couple of times at the things that exist and go on in this world! All in all, it is very well worth the money!- Amazon Customer
