Grimm: Season Three [Blu-ray]

DVD Wholesale Quick Overview:

I’m surprised at how much I like this semi-super hero show which combines a monster of the week with three major sub-plots to keep the action jumping and the show, which could get old fast on simpler fare, interesting. Granted, this is not “high” drama, like an historic drama complete with costumes and british accents, but it is completely entertaining for any person who, like me, still has adolescent needs for heroes and principles – that are often higher than the rule of law, as when law hasn’t recognized the phenomenon involved.
I will continue to watch for a couple more seasons, but I hope the side plots are wrapped up by the time the sponsors decide to quit supporting show.- db

Great show ! Have watched it since it began. Excellent scripts & plot lines. Fantastic special effects ! Makes me wanna be a “Grimm” so I can drive-up to Portland and help Nick & the Crew weed out some of those really bad Wesen !

Perfect casting…David Giuntoli is from St. Louis…another of our “Hometown Boys” who made good ! PLUS, it was a stroke of genius adding “Trubel” in Season 3 ! If you’ve not seen her yet, I won’t spoil it for you, but she’s a real “balance” to David Giuntoli’s character. Only cast member I feel is weak is “Wu”…w-a-y too flipant and sarcastic most of the time.

If you’ve watched Season’s 1 & 2, you’re gonna need to see Season 3…especially to find out what happens to Nick, AND, Juliette ! AND, if you need more Info…that’s really simple: just read my Review of Season 2 !-Jonnie King

This is a great opening. Nonstop excitement. Definitely my new favorite. Of course it is only episode one, so I’ll be watching more episodes and reviewing. So far I am wholeheartedly behind it. They’ve touched on just about all the questions left at the end of the last season. Darn. I wanted a two hour premiere…..

Episode two. What can you say, complete ethical hairball. On one hand Nick was unwillingly drugged out of his mind, and magically turned into a killing machine. Was it his fault? Is he to blame for the actions he perpetrated after Samedi made him into a zombie? Or were Samedi and Eric Renard the true murderers? On the other hand, someone died, and it was Nick’s body was the tool that caused the death. And that poor family, those kids. Awful. Does Nick’s lack of consent, his being forcibly drugged eliminate his responsibility? Maybe. Two have been punished for their horrible misdeeds. Eric and the Baron. Is it enough? If Nick is held responsible for what he could not control, will justice be served?-neichan
